Been busy putting up a quick video un-boxing of a replacement battery for my Canon G7X Mark II. The official batteries can be around £60 mark so wanted a compatible replacement hence the video review. There are a lot of batteries on Amazon, EBay and the like but they are not compatible with the Mark II so when you put them in the camera you get a Canon warning screen telling you this is not a compatible battery. You can then skip the warning and the batteries will work but with no battery level being indicated on the camera. So the video below shows a fully compatible replacement with the new chip on so it works perfectly with the camera just as if it was Canons own battery. I have 4 of these batteries and they work flawlessly no issues at all work the same as the Canon batteries in every way no issues at at but these are priced at £20 so big saving for the same performance.
There is an Amazon link below the video were you purchase this battery from. Comments are closed.
